Zephaniah 1:7
Be silent before the Lord God, for the day [of the vengeance] of the Lord is near; for the Lord has prepared a sacrifice, and He has set apart [for His use] those who have accepted His invitation.
We are His invited guests, chosen ones, set apart from the crowd. Let us be silent (stand still) with our ears inclined towards His instructions, walk in obedience and follow His ways as the day of the Lord is near.
